Cayenne:
The Cayenne was launched in 2002, much to the dismay of Porsche purists. Looking back now, not only has the model played a key role in saving the brand from bankruptcy, many former purists now own one of these. For good reason, too – it’s just so good. It adapts and overcomes any and every situation thrown its way – from family commutes to somewhat spirited joyrides, from heavy duty towing to shining bright in a valet parking, it does it all.

Originally a Belgium-delivered exampled, we imported this car in 2024 and have used it for over a year and more than 35k km. In this time, it has not so much as set a wheel wrong. Regular oil changes every 10k km, it more than deserved a major inspection in April, where the gearbox and transmission oil, spark plugs, all filters and some other minor components have been replaced. In July, the timing chain has been preventively replaced as initial signs of stretching have appeared.
No car is perfect and this one is no exception. There are minor scratches on several parts of the exterior, while stretched leather on the dashboard spoils the overall well-preserved interior.
