It’s February 2021, most of Europe is plagued by lockdowns, restrictions of movement & travel and is generally not in its happy place. Lotus fans have it even worse, having just been told the Elise, Exige and Evora would be discontinued, with their eventual replacement yet to be released.
But, good news was just around the corner. The Exige was due a swansong. Three of them, even. That is how the Exige Sport 390 Final Edition came about (along with the Sport 420 and Cup 430).
Weighing in at under 1.150 kg and moved along by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine, producing 403 hp and and 420 Nm of torque, this was always destined to become the sweet spot of the Final Edition models.
